There's a really simple solution to this...

It's a House Republican rule, yes? Well then, change the damn rule and reinstate him.

Surely, we can get a majority within our own party. Can't we?

We tried that. The Dems, the media and half of the "conservatives" on this board were against it.

I agree! We made the damn rule, and WE can change it. It's for damned sure the Dems would never EVER have such a rule, since they never EVER step down from office no matter what.

Reinstate DeLay and then Earle the Squirrel won't have his cake and eat it too any more!

What do we have to do to get this accomplished? Start a petition? Email campaign? Protest march?

DeLay himself advocated reinstatment of the GOP House Rule. The House had rescinded the rule, and would have held firm in that position but for DeLay's suggestion.
