Why is it necessary to make mickey mouse analyses to deal with adult topics?

This article, which might be instructive on Sesame Street, is an embarrassment in a mature country, presumably politically mature, where the citizenry are adults, being led by the cream of the crop.

When an article makes one go "D'OH!", perhaps the problem is beyond (peaceful) repair...

Interesting that you had such a negative reaction. I thought the analogy to the war on poverty was a brilliant stroke that I had not seen elsewhere. De gustibus, etc.

Why not?

No matter how you phrase it or debate it the democrats interest are keeping fellow Americans dependant, like children. Taking from those who have managed on thier own, like children. They are against helping others when it might cost something, like children, even when the benefit would be for everyone.

Because so many Democrats operate at the Mickey Mouse level. That's often why they're Democrats.

Humor. Attempting ridicule of the enemy foreign and domestic. Hope it is effective, but am doubtful.

"perhaps the problem is beyond (peaceful) repair..." indeed.

Not to mention that it ends up supporting the concept of the Welfare State. Go figure.
