The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Video Comeback For Bin Laden?
Full Story

He hasn't been heard from in more than a year, but one news site reports that it has obtained a new tape of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

But U.S. officials are skeptical of the report, CBS News reports.

The story from Pajhwok Afghan News, dated Tuesday, describes a new 30-minute tape with a message from Taliban commander Mullah Dodallah and the al Qaeda leader, according to the IntelCenter, a U.S. government contractor that does work for intelligence agencies.

CHRISTIAN GROUPS ACCUSED OF ‘PROSELYTISING' MUSLIMS IN BANDA ACEH, INDONESIA

By Dan Wooding
Founder of ASSIST Ministries

BANDA ACEH, INDONESIA (ANS) -- Tensions between fundamentalist Muslims and Western aid workers have begun to erupt in Aceh as the tsunami-devastated Indonesian province slowly recovers, reports Sian Powell in a story written in Banda Aceh for The Australian newspaper.

An elephant helps with the clean up effort in Banda Aceh (Photo: Reuters/Tarmitsy Harva)

“Islamic activists have claimed that aid workers are secretly attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity, pointing particularly to World Vision, Aceh Relief, the International Catholic Mission and Church World Service,” said Powell.

“And Western women have been sent threatening text messages, warning them not to be seen on the beach in swimming costumes, ‘or else’.

“Rumors swirl in Aceh of conversions from Islam to Christianity, of plans to undermine Islam with largesse from Christian charities and of a secret Christian agenda of seemingly innocuous aid organisations.”

“Aceh was traumatized by the Boxing Day tsunami, which left 170,000 dead and missing, but however needed the Western aid organisations have been, they have always been watched with wary eyes.”

Sian Powell went on to say, “An elder of the al-Hassanah mosque in Banda Aceh's Geuceu district said a gift of Christian money could not be used for a new roof for the mosque. Instead, the money was borrowed from elsewhere, and the donated funds from the broad-minded US-based Catholic Relief Service were used to repay the loan -- preventing the Christian cash having any direct contact with the mosque.

Long known as Indonesia's most conservatively devout province, Aceh introduced strict Islamic sharia law in 1999. Gamblers have been publicly caned and religious police have detained bare-headed Muslim women or couples seen canoodling.”

“Christian organisations flatly deny they are trying to bring the Christian faith to Aceh.

“World Vision Australia chief executive Tim Costello said his organization had a strict policy forbidding proselytisation.”

The story concludes that Aceh's Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency will begin investigating the allegations next month and, more importantly, probe why the Acehnese are feeling so insecure about Christians in the province.

IRAQI CITIZEN HELPS COALITION FORCES

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A local national identified a home in east Baghdad that was being used as a factory to make improvised rocket-launchers.

At about 6:30 p.m. elements of 3rd squadron, 7th Cavalry, raided the home and discovered 15 rocket-launchers were in the process of being built and one 57 millimeter rocket was completed and ready to be fired. No one was present in the home at the time of the raid.

Islamic teacher barred US entry for speaking engagement at Houston conference

Snip: Yahya Ibrahim arrived at the Detroit airport Monday, where an immigration inspector denied him entry. Ibrahim, who was traveling from Australia, could not be reached for comment. He was scheduled to speak at the Texas Dawah Convention, an annual event for Muslims expected to attract 4,000 participants from across the country. The government confirmed that Ibrahim was denied entry, but refused to say why.

TEXAS!!! Get a rope. What are they doing in Houston? I would think Texas would be the last place these scumbags would want to have a meeting. Where is the Texas ping list?

4 Men Arrested in Stolen Explosives CaseFederal Authorities Say Four Men Arrested in Stolen Explosives Case in New Mexico
By SUSAN MONTOYA BRYAN Associated Press Writer
The Associated Press

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Dec 24, 2005 — Authorities arrested four men and were searching for one more person in connection with the theft of 400 pounds of explosives enough to flatten a large building from a storage depot.

All of the explosives and detonating materials were recovered, and there was no evidence to suggest the theft was connected to terrorism, said Wayne Dixie of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Two brothers, Leslie Brown, 44, of Ignacio, Colo., and David Brown, 49, of Bloomfield, face federal charges that include possession of stolen explosives and felons in possession of explosives, Dixie said.

Authorities gave few other details, including the names of the other two people arrested Friday. A tip led to the arrests.

"Investigators are still interviewing these people that are involved so we don't have all the answers yet," Dixie said.

The explosives were reported missing Sunday from Cherry Engineering's storage depot eight miles southwest of Albuquerque. Federal authorities said the explosives are enough to flatten a large building.

Stolen were 150 pounds of C-4, 250 pounds of sheet explosives, 20,000 feet of detonator cord and 2,500 blasting caps.

The explosives were intact and it did not appear that anyone had tried to use the material, authorities said. Authorities said the brothers did not have experience to use the explosives.???

Investigators said they were continuing a search of a storage facility south of Bloomfield, where most of the explosives were found. Some of the material also was found in Ignacio and another location in Bloomfield.

Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White said there was a "collective sigh of relief" when authorities were notified that the explosives had been located.

Texas Dawah Convention

I talked to a muslim ex-worker prior to 9/11 about this event.

That year they had it at the Astro Arena right after the rodeo. The place absolutely stunk of pig crap. Cool!!

He said that there were four auto wrecks in the parking lot that he saw and at least four on the adjacent streets.

Buncho losers!!

Hi Vel, I couldn't open neosgirl's animation file either, but thought that article might help explain it. I haven't even been able to get online at all the last couple of days. Must be holiday overload on my server. Isn't dial-up grand?

So, before I get unceremoniously bumped off yet again, my thanks to all our excellent posters and Merry Christmas to everyone!

Just came back from a quick last minute Christmas shopping run and saw something long overdue. I live near an interchange along I-90 in Chicago, and for the last several weeks there has been a woman dressed in a hijab "panhandling" at this interchange. She has views to a major commuter rail line, a 6 lane interstate and the nearby CTA transit terminal. We have reported her numerous times. Well today she was being questioned by the State Police and 4 men in black suits who arrived in a black SUV. 'Bout damned time the Feds showed up!
