SandRat, my son was on that ship during this last MEU. He and his team was on shore doing training with the Jordanians. The ship was docked and when the rocket went over they pulled the ships away from the docks.

I was on the pier painting the stern of the kearsarge when the attack happened. the poor jordanian soldier on watch never saw it coming. RIP
