WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Democratic National Committee (DNC) today unveiled new advertisements aimed at holding Republican Congresswoman Jean Schmidt accountable for her attacks on Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha, a decorated war veteran with 37 years of military service, during a Congressional debate on the Iraq War. The ads -- including a 10-by-20 foot mobile billboard, full-page ads in 10 newspapers throughout Schmidt's district, and online Web ads -- were unveiled this morning at a news conference at Blue Ash Bicentennial Veterans Memorial Park in Cincinnati.
As part of the DNC's effort to hold Schmidt accountable for her outrageous attack on Murtha, the DNC purchased the ads after Lamar Advertising refused to run billboards near Schmidt's district office in Portsmouth, Ohio.
"Today, thousands of people from all across the country sent politicians like Jean Schmidt a clear message," said DNC Spokesman Damien LaVera. "Americans are tired of the politics of hate and division. By supporting this effort to hold Jean Schmidt accountable for her outlandish, out of line attacks on Congressman Murtha, people all across America showed that any politician who attacks the brave men and women who served our country for political gain will pay a political price.

Excellent. Let them waste their money. I bet her poll numbers will go up.
It's high time those milktoast morons grew a spine.

As a former Marine I disown Murtha. I know real Marines , and he isn't one of them.
Now, I speak only for myself, but I really like the "politics of hate and division."
Thank God for Howard Dean. He truly is a colossal putz.

How can they say this with a straight face?
it's like an Oxymoron, comming from Morons. but thats an insult to morons.
If there is ANY group in America that should know about SHAME, it is the DNC.
Time to send Jean some more money.
That is perfect.
Another media constriction.
Jean Schmidt was quoting a Marine in Iraq - So I guess that the Dems are really saying is 'Shame on the Marine in Iraq'
Now that's what I call CHUTZPAH! Imagine them using,as the key word,a word that they can't even spell, let alone define!
I noticed the ad doesn't even repeat what she said. That's because the words weren't hers. She was relaying a message from a soldier in Iraq. That's what the media and dems keep conveniently overlooking. When people demanded an apology from her she should have said "I'll relay your demands to the soldier".
This is funny! This add will only draw attention to their own idiotic behavior the last several weeks. I can't believe they would be this stupid.
I thought I had read somewhere that the soldier deny's sending her that message...
I haven't heard Lindsey Graham calling for the Dems to take down the add yet.
This is not even sensible. The secret to BS'ing people is that you only lie as much as you need to.
Several examples of the latter category:Lee Harvey Oswald,Scott Ritter,Murtha......
A big BOOOOOHOOHOOHOOHOOHOO to the idiots in the DNC. Yo, DUmmies... is that the absolute best you can come up with?
It's kinda like a porcupine protesting barbed wire.
