I'm sorry, how much skill has not been shown, but his willingness to get something for nothing has. I would insist on repaying in labor every one who was defrauded by this "money". If the kid did indeed demonstrate superior work with computer and scanner (perhaps) maybe there is a career out there, but only for those with integrity. enough said.
The kid's ten. He probably doesn't understand why counterfeiting is wrong, let alone that it's stealing. I agree that he needs to be taught a lesson, though.
