The last-minute addition of language that expresses congressional support for a guest worker program into the immigration bill headed for the House floor Thursday has a group of Republican members up in arms. What's going on with House leadership appears to be nothing more than a charade to get amnesty through. If this language isn't removed those who support true enforcement ought to just vote to kill the bill.

If this language isn't removed those who support true enforcement ought to just vote to kill the bill. How about lobby to reverse the text. Change it to state until the illegal aliens are out and the southern border is closed there will NEVER be a "guest worker" system. And have it include the H1-B sham as well.

I think a guestworker program is a great idea - but this
may not have been exactly the place to put that little plug.
Remember, we had a working guest worker program - until it was killed by LBJ and the Dems at the behest of the unions and Cesar Chavez.

If a "sense of the House" regarding guest worker is in the final draft then the Republican immigration committee caucus should kill the bill and revert to current immigration law.
The House is where we will obtain border security and enforcement.....NOT the Senate.

What's going on with House leadership appears to be nothing more than a charade to get amnesty through. The scam upon American taxpayers continues. Call your state's con artist today and let him/her know that you know what they're doing. Resentment is growing in America.
