A polling station reopened Wednesday morning at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton for Iraqi voting.

It first opened Tuesday.

It is one of seven similar polling places around the country.

Thousands of Iraqis from all over the Western United States are expected to cast their ballots in Pleasanton.

The election is open to those who can prove they were born in Iraq or whose parents were born there.

The poll closes at 9 p.m. Thursday.
