I-Team Uncovers MD4Bush E-Mail Addresses
The WBAL Channel ^ | 12/14/05 | WBAL-TV

The WBAL-TV 11 News I-Team has uncovered new information surrounding the mysterious Web user known as MD4Bush.

In private e-mail exchanges, MD4Bush coaxed Joe Steffen, a former aide to Gov. Bob Ehrlich, into discussing rumors about Baltimore Mayor Martin O'Malley's personal life on the conservative Web site, FreeRepublic.com.

The 11 News I-Team has uncovered e-mail addresses used to register the MD4Bush account on the Free Republic Web site. The 11 News I-Team does not know who opened the MD4Bush account.

According to a source familiar with the MD4Bush postings, the e-mail address used in October 2004 to open the MD4Bush account is: ryanrock2004@yahoo.com.

Sources said that e-mail address was later changed to rodoherty@mddems.org, then changed for a third time to brianwaverly@yahoo.com. That third e-mail address remains as the address registered on the Free Republic account, which remains open.

Free Republic Web founder Jim Robinson refused to publicly disclose the electronic trail of MD4Bush; however, he authorized a statement weeks ago, as follows:

"Free Republic has evidence that an mddems.org e-mail address is associated with the MD4Bush account. This is not just coincidence," Free Republic spokeswoman Kristinn Taylor said.

According to Free Republic, anyone who has the password to the MD4Bush account could change the e-mail registration address at any time. It is not known how many people may have had access to that password.

MD4Bush used e-mails to coax former gubernatorial aide Joe Steffen into discussing rumors on a conservative Web site about the personal life of Baltimore's mayor. The e-mail address information obtained does not shed light on the actual users of the MD4Bush account, nor does it reveal whether someone attached the Ryan O'Doherty e-mail address to the account without his knowledge.

I don't think Ryan O'Doherty is smart enough to plan such an elaborate cover ... but there are several Democrat Operatives in Maryland who are. Come to think of it, one VERY PROMINENT operative ("Democrat Consultant") - a regular caller to conservative talk radio - seems to have disappeared.

I am fortunate to have met Kristinn in 2000 and he's no woman, but a good guy!

I think all of this "Is Kristinn a man or a woman" is a clever distraction. The Maryland Democrats are very clever in this way ... and they have the connections to get such a distraction started.

I believe MD4BUSH is alive and well in Maryland, and earning his Big Democrat Bucks, doing what he does best.

I don't see any possible advantage to "frame" O'Doherty, though I would not be surprised if he claimed that.

I believe that O'Doherty could be covering for an even bigger operative ... his new job might just be a reward for keeping his mouth shut.

I wonder if it's Michelle Lane, reportedly NCPAC's ex-girlfriend, who seems to be a Democrat operative. She ws pretty bitter about her firing.

Lane left plenty of friends behind when she was fired ... friends who could have gotten Steffan's FR particulars.

Pretty much covers all the bases. And this confirms what many have suspected all along: the Democrats are not handicapped by ethics. Like the National Socialists they are, they will break every rule, flout every law, and deride any decency in order to get what they want.

There's gonna be a reckoning. That much is certain.

You're probably right on the money. I found nothing on Brian Waverly at Google.

Your utterances will be available to your friends, your enemies, your children and their children.

I post under my real name to remind myself of that fact. Still, I occasionally have trouble containing myself when I really feel like venting some steam!

There are a few posts I wish I could have back-- mostly imprecations against Islam that do not apply to a few good and decent individual Muslims of my acquaintance-- but by and large, I've said the same things in conversation as I do here. Everyone knows I'm a hard right winger.

rodoherty@baltometro.org

Which is an organization headed up by the Mayor of Baltimore. Any guesses who that is? Marty Boy himself.

As we all know, the word of a Washington Post reporter is worth about as much as the toilet paper I use to clean myself.

The Post is moving up in the world!

Do you know what it's like to be known by friends and family as a die-hard conservative and to have your post reported on national news as coming from a liberal?!

Good grounds for on helluva libel suit, if I ever saw it.
