Never mind that there is no evidence whatsoever of our hero Rahim doing any of the things he now claims to have done. (Though he and his merry band of "anarchists" are suspected of stealing Red Cross supplies.)
----I would say there is about as much reason to honor him as there would be any of the liars coming out of the woodwork down there claiming racial discrimination concerning Katrina while sponging off the taxpayers.
(this post is NOT directed at the citizens who are actively trying to put their lives back together and it is not to diminish what they have been through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you)

He milked this alleged dead body he found for all it was worth . . . Reminds me of Shepard Smith and the dead body he found on Fox News.

That article seems really wrong to me. I volunteered with Common Ground for about two weeks and in that time I met Malik. He was a very generous man and the organization he started is doing a lot to help New Orleans. From what I've seen there has been a lot LESS racism in the area since Common Ground began. (And Algiers never flooded...) Residents were grateful that they were getting some help. Also, no one stole supplies from the Red Cross. People from the Red Cross would often come to the Common Ground buildings and donate food and blankets, etc. because the CG organization is getting more attention from the people of new orleans so those supplies would have done more good with CG to give out to the people.
If you want the truth about whats going on New Orleans, just go there and experience it first hand. It's much different in real life from what you see on the news.
