I love Bo! Play his stuff all the time. I have been a professional guitarist for over 30 years, and I know a lot about all these guys. Yes, Page has gotten more "aclaim" and has had more "pop" popularity, but Beck is a master musician, and is recognized as such by all his peers. I've played on several cds by a metal guitar virtuoso, playing pedal steel, of all things. I took him to see Jeff Beck on tour a few years ago, and we just shook our heads in amazement! The beauty of his playing, the undeniable technique,,,What more can I say? Yes Page was/is more popular, in a pop sense. But he can not come close to Beck in ability. And, again, I don't dislike Page, I just recognize Beck's superiority.

There are a lot of master musicians out there in the business, and then there are the commercial successes like Page and Led Zeppelin in particular. How many records have they sold?

I know a master musician, who is quite rich, and you have heard him often for the past twenty years, but if you know Robin Batteau (no Googling now) and can tell me what he has done and can hum his signature music, then you pass the test.
