We love and support our troops, we just do not want them voting.
They do love the military, like they love puppies and children. That’s why they always refer to them as children sent off to war by evil Republicans who never send off their own children.
The fact that every single last soldier in our military is an adult who entered service of their own free will does not fit into their template.
They believe the military are dopey little kids, too stupid to vote, and forced into arms. But they love them, in an insulting and thoroughly condescending way. Like the blacks.
It is more that just the condescension that infuriates me, it is the absolute arrogance by some Democrat "heroes" and "patriots" who served our country 30-40 years ago who believe their opinions regarding our soldiers, on war, and foreign policy are more important (or should not be criticized)than mine or your opinions.
