They are part of the mounting evidence that the ancestors of North American native peoples may not have been the first to settle here, and certainly were not the only arrivals.

Does this mean "native American" tribes may have to give up their casinos and claims to sovereignty?

No. The treaties are valid and will remain so no matter if the American Indians arrived five minutes before Columbus.
