>>>Given that one who murdered four times--for $220--was given his due after a quarter of a century of delay, celebration is warranted.<<<
Perhaps in your world. Not in mine. Tookie got what he had coming - justice was served. But it's no reason to act like your team won the super bowl or world series. I find your attitude repugnant.

Find my attitude however you wish. It won't interfere with my celebration of a rare display of righteous justice.

I find your attitude repugnant.I agree. I would allow the families and friends of the victims such a response, however. I think it would do the rest of us some good, to find some humility. I think one of the reasons there is this reaction to Tookie's execution is that it gives alot of folks here a bit of schadenfreude against the liberals who supported his cause so dearly. I think its still wrong. I feel bad for this guys immortal soul, and what little humanity he may have had left. I ain't sheddin no tear for the scumbag, however.

Tookie got what he had coming - justice was served. So, isn't justice being served something to celebrate? It happens so infrequently anymore.
