Murtha is a phony, there's no other explanation for a US Marine to say the things he says. Someone needs to closely examine his records from way back - he sounds like kerry to me. "War hero"? I doubt it.

How can I post photos of these superb younsters on Free Republic?

church16, I'm passing this along to OldSarge, he's much more skilled at this computer stuff than I am.

Old Sarge, please give church16 a hand with posting, thanks.

You guys have plenty of support back here at home, and the word of your success is getting out.

Don't worry about the Democrats and the old media. Folks are catching on to their "cut and run" crap.

"the same game plan they employed in vietnam"

Well .. I think you give them too much credit. One of the patterns I've seen over and over is that the dems never think ahead of the consequences of their actions.

They launch all kinds of scathing stuff, and it always ends up biting them in the behind. Had they just stopped and thought about it a little while, they would have realized the possible consequences might make the idea a bad one.

This tells me the dems have no vision. They are "live for today and to hell with tomorrow" type of people. Liberals are cowards - and when pressed to support the war - they correctly read the public's sentiment about it. However, their cowardly attitude quickly changed when the war wasn't done in a matter of days, and people started dying. But .. what the dems misread was that the public was still up for the war .. even though the dems were tired of it .. and have done their darndest to besmirch the whole thing.

The dems don't get it - the public is smarter than the dems are willing to admit. I've heard it voiced already a couple of times that the 2006 election will be payback from the American public. Just like when the dems lied to us about Carter and we were subjected to an awful presidency - the following presidential election - it was a landslide - by the public who was sick of what the dems had done.

I believe that day is coming in 2006 and 2008. Not that conservatives can rest, but the dems have no idea what's in store for them. The "Reagan DEMOCRATS" did in the dem party in 1980.

I agree with just about everything you say with the exception I think you underestimate the libs capacity for deceit. The fact that they feign remorse over the loss of life in war does not mean they genuinely value human life. Were they remorseful over the loss of life during clinton's cowardly bombing of our historical ally the Serbs in order to expand the foothold of islamofascism in eastern europe?? I don't think we heard a single damn peep out of them...with one exception...Clark Clifford, bless his heart, filed a lengthy list of war crimes complaints against the miserable coward clinton with the war crimes tribunal. Otherwise not a single expression of remorse for the innocent lives lost in the bombing. So this entire remorse thing over lives being lost in Iraq is PHONEY, calculated only to undermine a war effort that they voted FOR. The calculated purpose being to weaken and defeat the republican administration.

I would like to see each of these loudmouthed traitors treated to a Nick Berg haircut...ya know...a little off at the neck!!

I totally agree. Maybe I am underestimating their capacity for deceipt .. but I don't think so. I believe they have the capacity, it's just that their deceipt is not well thought out to the conclusion. They never take into account what the public reaction will be - or that there will be any public reaction at all. They're just used to having the media run the gauntlet for them with no objections from the public. In some regards, I don't think they yet realize the whole atmosphere of America has changed since 9/11 - but the dems haven't.

I do agree with the haircut - and the sooner the better.
