Greetings, FReepers, Troops,
and All the Ships at Sea!
Reporting LIVE! from the Fobbit Hole in the rich bottom lands of the Euphrates River Valley, it’s the continuing saga of Sarge's Most Excellent Adventure! Sarge is in the last hours of an all-nighter on watch tonight, as the sun has yet to rise and the yodeling from the minarets is in full swing. There have been lots of dull booms all over the city, as your troops are blowing things up as they find them. Silent Night, not!
What this means is, Sarge gets a comp-day today, so a Nyquil toddy will lull the old boy to sleep. Lots of guys are coming down with the Ramadi Crud again - the Blue-eyed Devil almost sounds like bronchitis is coming on. The Vulcan observed with his dry humor, "He's coughing up a lung, and puffing on a Marlboro... what's the irony of this, I wonder?"
To which the Devil replied, "Well, Sir, if a few puffs of hot air clears th' pipes out, then ah reckon it's doin' th' job, y'know?"
Sarge just smiled, taking a long pull of his Prince Albert...
Sarge will fill everyone in about the doings of the Company, as soon as he gets a little rack-time done.
Sarge will be in the area tomorrow, so Y'all Have Fun!
