"Every day we're there, we inadvertantly kill people.....That makes enemies, Murtha said.

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, this quote just stood out.

Murtha galvanized Democrats several weeks ago, when he called for an immediate U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq. He hasn't changed his mind.

...Even after congress voted 403 to 3 NOT to pull troops out of Iraq, (A Fact I never see reported anywhere from the MSM) this sillyassed, looney, LOSER still trumpets his asinine call!

You have to forgive Chuckie. There's no cameras around so he has to get some publicity with press releases

Schumer sure "begs the question" without evidence.

I suggest before we invest in all the travel expense, we send a smaller, less distinguished, panel to Schumer's office to investigate the "evidence" he used to claim "problems" and "failure". If no such evidence exists, then it stands to reason that nobody needs to waste their time traveling to Iraq. We simply need to unscrew the poor Senator's thinking.

I wonder if the administration has the guts to respond to this silly Senator along these lines.

Chuck, shut up. You and your Democratic cohorts haven't made a positive contribution to the war on terror in four years. Just can the sniping, and maybe the war in Iraq will be over sooner.

Are you attempting to see if you can get these people killed? We know how terrible the situation is, per Demonrats.

A distinguished delegation of former military leaders like
General Tommy Franks, General Norman Schwarzkopf, and
Secretary Colin Powell should be sent by the President to
report back to the American public as soon as possible so
we can fix these serious problems," Schumer added.

I know people from NY and they aren't so stupid as to elect his guy. The vote counting is NY has to be "bent".

Schumer: "examine the failures in [Iraqi] troop training and deployment."

General Abizaid: The insurgency is in four of 18 provinces in Iraq, not all 18. ... Iraq now has over 200,000 soldiers/police under arms and growing. They are starting to eclipse the US/coalition forces. Their casualty rate is more than double that of the US. There are more than 70,000 soldiers under the moderate government in Afghanistan and growing.... 2006 will be a transition year in Iraq and that will see the Iraqi forces take much more of the mission from the US forces

"so it is critical to know what is going wrong,"

If the second coming of Jesus Christ were to happen while Chucky was mowing his lawn, he would be cussing at the crab grass he was in the process of mowing.

The democrats greatest fear regarding Iraq and the war on terror...is that it will succeed. They are blatantly and obviously politically self serving in their criticisms, and always have been.

A pro military, pro national security republican president conducting and winning a war of this importance...represents total and complete annihilation of the democrat party.

Never say the democrats don't understand the importance of winning the war on terror. They are very aware it is a life and death struggle. If George Bush is successful...they are dead!
