Is are economy based on myth by using debt to create wealth?

You need to take a macro economics class at a local community college.

But suffice it to say that in order for the government to borrow money, someone must lend it to the government. The amount that the government borrows and spends exactly equals the amount that someone has lent and foregone spending. It is impossible to "use debt to create wealth".

Thanks for the class. I was just arguing that we are responsible in having to pay our debt. How are we gonna do it?
