POLICE moved quickly to prevent violence at potential new flashpoints in Sydney tonight following some of the worst race-based clashes ever seen in Australia.
Police guarding against any repeat of yesterday's race riot at Cronulla tonight blocked off streets around the Lakemba Mosque, in Sydney's south-west, after about 500 mostly Muslim men gathered, apparently after rumours of an imminent attack on the building.
Rocks and flares were thrown at police as the crowd dispersed, police said, and although no one was injured, tensions tonight remained high among Australians of Middle Eastern background, who were targeted in yesterday's race riot at Cronulla beach.
Earlier today, cricket bats, rocks and lengths of steel were confiscated by police monitoring about 100 local residents who had gathered near Maroubra Beach, not far from where a rampaging mob smashed car windows last night in an apparent retaliation for the Cronulla beatings.
The crowd had largely dispersed by nightfall, but Superintendent Phil Rogerson said police were also worried about violence flaring tonight at Coogee and Bondi, in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

What did the 500 Muslim men gather for, take over Sydney? The Muslims want to act like thugs, they got what they deserved.
A lot of Caucasian Aussie girls have been getting gang raped by these immigrants the last few years.
I imagine there is a lot of pent up anger from the lack of justice with the girls' families and friends just waiting for revenge.
Multiculturalism is a failure, a socialistic experiment that brings on chaos.
I've seen that violence is down there, but haven't seen the actual reason other than middle eastern (muslim) men attacked a lifeguard and these riots are in retaliation for that.
Does anyone know WHY the lifeguard was attacked??

The attack on the lifeguards was the last straw. Rapes and a general disregard and contempt for Australian life by many Muslims has created the environment where the events of the past couple of days have been inevitable.
ok, so is this basically muslims trying to enforce their beliefs on Australians and they've finally had enough?

The flawed leftist socialist idea that all people are basically good is being thrust to the forefront of their idiotic ideology. This belief stems from the idea that all people believe "do unto other what you would like done unto you".
Problem here is that all Muslims have been indoctrinated since birth in the mantra of Islam call 'moral relativism' which denies the golden rule (the basis for western civilizations concepts of truth and justice) and replaces it with "do what Mohammed and Allah said and don't question it, otherwise you will burn in eternal hellfire forever."
In Islam its not do what’s right but do what Allah (the narcissist Mohammed’s alter ego) commanded regardless if it is right or wrong.
Lifeguards asked the Lebs to stop playing soccer on the beach after receiving complaints that the players were intruding upon and disruptive to others.
France and now Australia. I'm glad the Aussies are fighting back and not surprised the French hide in their homes. I fear we may start seeing things like this in the states soon and it's time I learned how to use a gun. I'll be talking with the hubby about this later.

not "riots"........mere "riots" are senseless.
There doesn't have to be a reason in situations like these.
Top that off by several Aussie girls having been gang raped by groups of Muslims and well you get the idea why things are firing up down there.
Be really careful if you acquire the means to defend yourself. Study accidents and how they occur and then take steps to avoid them. Also, get on a website that discusses when and under what circumstances you can use self defense.
If things are rough, no one else will protect you unless you are very lucky.
