It is not the U.S. citizen's job to make recommendations to foreign governments regarding to whom they raise statues in honor. I desire foreign governments to keep their noses out of my affairs, and as such I show them the same courtesy. Regardless, I would recommend all FReepers learn something about Mustafa Kemal Atatürk before even dreaming about offering such commentary.

Oh and by the way, any American citizen is free to say what he/she wants to any government he/she wants.
