Actually, I think the best moments comes right before and after Linus's speech; before, when Charlie's poor little tree bends low and symbolically dies under the weight of a single ornament; and after when the pathetic little tree is made resplendent with the decorations from Snoopy's doghouse. It is a parable of death and resurrection; and that, too, is the real meaning of Christmas.
