Morning AB. I am nursing one HELL of a hangover this morning...company Christmas party last night.

Now I'm into my second pot of coffee, and things are looking weird.

They love "independent" Republicans but they can't stand "independent" Dems.

My vote for idiotic statement of the day so far. Julian Phillips on Fox and Friends, "Maybe we should have kept Iraq's Republican Guard intact, they were highly skilled".

A significant observation. What do you make of it? Have they shut Joe down or do the "bookies" just not want to let him speak...or both??

Do you think Congressman Murtha will be introduced as:
“Committed liberal,…
“Secular Left enthusiast…..
“UN devotee….
“Nanny State adherent…..
“Frivolous Lawsuit proponent…..
“ANWAR caribou defender…..
“Die hard socialist policy follower……
“ACLU disciple….
“Planned Parenthood/abortion backer…..
“Tax & Spend champion….
“Same sex marriage promoter…..
“Sponsor of the USSC Kelo decision judges…..
“Partial birth abortion advocate…..
“Moveon.org supporter….
“Immediate withdrawal from the war patron…..
“Weak US National security fan……..
“Diversity loving…….
“Anti US business …..
“Americans United for the separation of church & state benefactor….
“Liberal intelligentsia leader……
“NARAL pro abortion ally……

or will it be the same old boring intro of "Decorated war veteran"?

Either the MSM simply doesn't want his statements to get much play, since it highlights how much the 'Rats are in disarray, or the dem leadership is pressuring him to keep quiet.

Does he also think we should have kept the SS intact after we took over Germany?

Good morning, and thanks for the thread.

And, people thought last week had a weak lineup!

Oh well, it's Christmas time. Merry Christmas.

I think it's more of the former. Liebermann won't keep quiet on this issue.

Actually, I'm pleasantly surprised.

One of the shows is actually letting Jeff Sessions on for an interview. he hasn't done anything to slam the administration or Republicans that I know of, he isn't championing a Liberal cause. He's a conservative Republican. I'm kind of shocked CBS is allowing him on.

I was expecting McCain or Hagel on today to blast the effective white flag ad. The closest to a turncoat on is Lindsey. He may yet do it as well, but he's not their favorite.

Frist is weak as a leader, but he's not the "enemy" we usually have blasting us maliciously from our own side every Sunday. And then there is Kyl.

I'd take advantage of today. probably won't see a lineup that isn't so geared against Republicans for awhile. I'm sure they'll make up for it in questioning or panels.

I was hoping more Dems would be on today and continue to put their foots in their mouths but it seems they're in hiding today.

Arrgggh. Just when you think he can't say anything dumber...he does.

President Bush is forward thinking about Bird Flu, after reading the terrifying book about the pandemic of 1918.

Frist, as an MD, has latched on to this flu threat to try to raise his profile. It would be better for all of us if he would focus on steering the Senate to get some proper bills passed.
