Your Mental Attitude - Inspiration
Whatever your lifes desire may be, it will rake on new significance and new appeal for you when that tremendously powerful force we term inspiration takes over command.
All great works of art . . . scientific advancements . . . business developments . . . man s modern conveniences.., elevation of our standard of living . . . greater social and civic freedoms resulted from individual and collective inspiration which devised the necessary machinery to accomplish these ends.
This message is inspired by a burning desire to kindle in your heart the spark of realization that you can achieve anything your mind conceives . . . if youll follow through on your creative imagination with intelligent effort.
Actually, there is very little difference between what you are now and what you would like to be. The very moment you add just a little plus value to what you already have, you will move ahead of the crowd.
The $25,000.00-a-year man doesnt need nor possess ten times the ability of the $2,500.00 a year man. As little as ten per cent edge often accounts for the difference. The answer lies in the fact that one man is inspired to do better, while the other drifts along in complacent satisfaction to be just average.
General Pershing said: America is a nation of peace loving people, but once inspired to defeat tyranny, we astound the world. Production records during the last war did astound the world. These records were accomplished by an inspired people.
YOU will be amazed by the record you can make for yourself through inspiration ... plus a little perspiration.
The strength that lies within you, when properly stimulated by a desire to achieve certain goals, will create a new record for your acquisition of fine friendships . . . greater popularity and advancement . . . substantial and lasting success . . . security.
Right now you are better and smarter than you think you are! Determine this very minute what you want most out of life. Then start out after it! Claim your heritage!
Put your creative imagination to work. Make a definite decision to improve both the quantity and quality of your efforts, today. Arouse those slumbering talents ... accept only the very best life has to offer.
OBEY THAT IMPULSE .. . NOW!
The manner in which one single ray of light, one single precious hint, will clarify and energize the whole mental life of him who receives it, is among the most wonderful and heavenly of intellectual phenomena.

Wednesday we had our first winter thunder storm. For a brief moment, the sky cleared over Mauna Kea, revealing snow down to about the 11,000' level. Lasted only about half an hour.
when I looked today, only very small patches could be seen.
It's cool here nights....great for sleeping....not for getting out of bed in the early morning though. We don't have internal heating here.....just aerobic.

Well.....where are you? Texas?
I'm going to call my family in the mainland tomorrow, checking up on them to see how global warming is screwing up their winter.

,,, see the star at the bottom of the North Island? I'm 50km north of that on the west coast/Tasman Sea. It's 11,08pm Sunday and it's 21.7C.

Thought you were headed out after reenlisting. PCS....new assignment.
Have an uncle who was in Korea in '51. Said winter there was bitter cold. He came from upstate NY. At least the forests took something off the wind chill.

...and I am almost exactly where the "d" is in Auckland, on the map. West Coast, just far enough away from Auckland City to be able to say I don't live in Auckland!
Do you remember Xena Warrior Princess? That was filmed just down the road from where I live.
