A planeload of them died in Shanksville, PA on 9/11.Thank you. Nothing new about good Americans being the first line of defense. Even though many despise the means.

Uhhhh....don't you think the death penalty for peeing on a drink cart just a wee bit severe....

"No air marshal was aboard, but seven passengers tackled and subdued him."
No more passivity in the passenger section!!

I think I know what's going on here. These bankrupt airlines are recycling the plane "water" thus driving some of the passengers nuts enough to attemp an "atta" momment.

Now can I get me a Today Show interview?

Only if it is your first flight, you are missing several front teeth, and have been rejected by Maury and Jerry.

I read it that way to. Not everyone on an airliner has to be an american citizen. Just like on a cruise ship. Not everyone has to be an american citizen. Not everyone going from LA to Hawaii needs to be an american citizen.
I think the author is playing on the mexicanism here. The author conveniently mentions Mexican National and Speaking Spanish. Notice how a lot of posts gravitate to that?
KUDOS to the passengers!!!!!!!!!!! The tacklers should get free tickets or at least a refund on their ticket price paid.

Uhhhh....don't you think the death penalty for peeing on a drink cart just a wee bit severe....Sure. Whizzing on the drink cart should only get a scolding. On YOUR flight. Today, if an individual becomes antsy on a flight that I am on; they are subject to the 30,000 foot rule. The death penalty should not be administered under the purveyance of some federal agent. Fortunately, cool minds prevail most of the time. Do not let me rain on an oppressive parade that is run by government functionaries.

Forget the perp- ask yourselves: WHY did the baby have a cell phone cord? You dope. Don't you know nowadays, these new babies don't have those old pristine belly button cords...they are now born with cell phone cords. Sheesh. Read up! :)

It were me n my brother Darrells first time on an aeroplane. We wuz mindin our own buidness n jist tryin tuh fit in. We wasn't payin nobody no never mind when all of a suddin all them folks just jummped up n started tuh wail on that poor feller. It's a good thing there weren't no fire marshalls on the plane or that feller might be dead.

"When I board planes, I look around and do a little "reality profiling" checking out who may be friend or foe.....
I believe that is called "situational awareness." I've been doing it since my first flight, off to Basic Training at Lackland AFB, in 1973. If we're ever on the same flight (not likely, as I don't fly on Uncle's nickle much anymore) we can cooperate to take the bastrich(s) down. I'll also contribute to your legal defense fund, if necessary. Keep your eyes open, and check your six.

She says the man even gestured threats toward a baby with a cell phone cord," Did the man have the cell phone cord or did the baby? Who would give a baby a cord to play with? Just wondering after this poorly worded sntence!

Good idea. I'm usually so ticked off about all the security lines and delays, I DARE anyone to pis@ me off even more on the plane!ha.

When I board planes, I look around and do a little "reality profiling" checking out who may be friend or foe..... So sue me!
For what? Being reasonable and smart, a crime no doubt. I haven't flown for several years but if I do, I hope you or someone like you is on my flight.

Not to worry....
I'm sure that when/if you do fly --- you'll notice LOTS of men on the airplanes that are "clued in" and motivated to make a stand -- rather than being led to their death like sheep...
That game won't play anymore......
