He's saying the America is always wrong, which is standard lunatic, socialist, Democrat propaganda. Ward Churchill must love this guy. Marx and Lenin would have too.

Actually, it's a long history when it comes to Democrat Presidents...at least going back to James K. Polk getting us into the Mexican War. Abraham Lincoln, during his one term in Congress, challenged the President to prove that the spot where the clash with the Mexicans had occurred was on U.S. soil. (He was then derisively called "Spotty" Lincoln.)

remember that osamabama got elected because all the other candidates self destructed during the primaries...he was running a distant 3rd before the other candidates were outed for bad divorces....

the republican (ryan) was outed for things that happened in his marriage as well.

also...osamabama was bought and paid for by the seiu...(very powerful union in illinois)

Do you think he's being reprogrammed?

I think it was to much, to soon for a guy to inexperienced.

Kennedy, Kerry, Hillary, Boxer, they are all liberals, but they are also more seasoned and experienced then Obama is.

Everybody wanted to use him to help them raise money, and, different folks have different agendas.

Reid and co, probably would be happy if Obama just raised money for the party, and let them do the heavy lifting, then you have other senators, who are going to want him to help their proteges or allies in primaries (i.e. someone loyal to Kennedy versus someone loyal to Hillary or someone from the late Wellstone wing of the party, etc).

I'm sure some of these guys wanted to keep his ego in check, while others didn't want him to upstage them.

He is as liberal as they come, but its pretty clear now, he had no idea what the senate was like or what he was in for, and how many different democrats have their own ideas on how to use him as an asset.

If he had been smarter, he would have looked at other rookies earlier and seen how they were adjusting and playing along (Salazar, or Martinez, etc).

Being a political rock star makes great theater, when you know how to handle it, but being a celebrtiy created by a media machine without having a clue, makes you vulnerable, and I'm sure he is more causious now about who wants to use him, and who wants to screw him over, and all the internal conflicts.

If he was really smart, he should have a sit down with Tom Coburn who wrote a book that described DC (house) to a "t".

If he is thinking about running for President, he had better think twice, because everybody will turn him into a political punching bag.

During one of the hearings on Bolton for the UN, he actually came into a meeting and said on CSPAN that he didn't read the papers on Bolton and was "too busy" to come to the first hearing.

It was amazing.

That he didn't even know enough to know he shouldn't admit stuff like that was kind of scarey.

Interesting, indeed that he didn't mention Bubba. I don't think Osama Obama wants to p-off Hitlery. He wants second fiddle in her campaign.

Osama Obama positioning himself so that everybody likes him. Don't worry, the far left will have problems with him. The only thing is, the far left will have to deal with the blacks who are not as far left and will support Obama simply because he's black. Possible split in the party like with Hillary if she stays with her pseudo-move to the center. My question is---do you see the 'moderates' voting for him? Or Hillary?

I am sure that Obama is being pulled in quite a few directions...

That's OK because the longer he talks, he will eventually get around to saying what everyone wants to hear. I have yet to hear one of his speeches where a definitive conclusion is made, or a salient fact uttered.

I know people who raved about his speech at the Dem Convention. I listened to it and all I thought was 'same old socialism'. He had an easy race because the Dems were able to get into Ryan's sealed divorce papers. Apparently during the custody battle, Ryan's ex (actress Jeri Ryan) testified that Ryan had taken her to a club and wanted her to have sex while other people watched them. When asked about the custody battle, she said something like 'people say lots of things to get custody of their children'. She didn't deny saying it. Ryan, the Republican, had to drop out of the Senatorial race. I'd love to know how the Dems got a judge to open that divorce case.

As far as the MSM is concerned, Obama walks on water, they treat hin like bubba clinton. If you just babble on a lot, it doesn't matter if it makes any sense or not, they swoon.

Same for hillary, she who walks on water.

His father, from what I recollect, was a visiting professor from Africa. I don't think he had much to do with him. Sounds a bit like Bubba's experience, in that the father wasn't around. Obama scares me,too.

...But his overall administration of WW2 was amazing...

-----
What's so amazing? I could win a war too if I could sacrifice a quarter million men. (Check that, I don't know exactly how many men died in WW2, but it was A LOT.) Just keep the waves moving. Eventually somebody will live to get to the point where they can raise a flag and take a picture of it. They were set to lose another half million men if the Bomb hadn't worked. Nothing amazing on Roosevelt's part.

You want to talk amazing. Take over 2 countries which are touted as the baddest dudes in the neighborhood. And convert them both from Dictatorships to voting Democracies in 3 years. And do it while only losing 2,500 troops. Now THAT'S amazing. That's Iraq and Afghanistan.

You seriously diminish the sacrifices of the Marines who bled and died to raise the flag on Iwo Jima. I suggest you use anti-FDR sarcasm to ridicule FDR rather than the heroes of combat.
