Julian has been watching a little too much CSI. Not every murder case involves DNA evidence.

Do I have to stand in line to laugh at this?

Memo to Julian: Bullets don't leave DNA.

To these unschooled imbeciles, DNA is some kind of magic talisman for proving innocence or guilt.

True. DNA evidence is only part of what's in a case to convict a suspect. We've always been able to convict the guilty long before DNA came along as a forensic tool. There is NO evidence of a single innocent person being put to death in the United States. While on the other hand, tens of thousands of innocent people have been murdered. Somehow, you never hear the murderer-loving crowd demand an end to the shedding of innocent blood. I'd treat their motives with a good deal of skepticism.

He still maintains his innocence. The death row con who admits his guilt and asks for justice to be done is a rare thing. For most of them, sociopaths, neanderthals, and recidivists, it's 'eff em. Keep 'em guessing till the end and afterwards'.

So by that reasoning we would never execute a "tidy" serial killer.
The liberal mind is a terrible thing to waste.

And DNA is not always definitive. The Discovery Channel had a show on folks who have two different sets of DNA in their bodies because they are a fusion of fraternal twins. One woman had to have an officer of the court attend the birth of her child to proved that she was actually the mother, even though the DNA say she wasn't! When samples of another woman's blood was sent to a British crime lab, they thought it was from two different people!

When Page pointed out that people on death row always maintain there innocence, Phillips responded that it wasn't true and that some people admit their guilt and ask to die. Perhaps that should be Julian's new standard for execution!

They should just ignore the fact that there were witnesses, ballistics evidence, and the fact gun used was purchased by tookie.

Speaking of maternity, I've wondered if Linda Vester will ever be back to Dayside....they no longer mention her at all, and it seems to be a regular gig for Juliet and Mikey.
