Amazing that only in America has economic growth translated into personal wealth growth in the last century now with free trade that is all being shot to hell too. Greed corrupts and absolute greed corrupts absolutely.

Actually, globalization should help a lot by permitting money to flee the worst dictatorships and tyrannies.
At last there is a natural economic force to encourage less oppressive government.

What about Eastern Europe?

Our economy has grown, and society as a whole has benefitted greatly from free trade. There are issues with outsourcing, but bear in mind that many comanies will outsource to avoid rediculous liberal taxation, lawsuits, and regulation, in addition to cheaper labor elsewhere.
The Economist article I sent you in #13 is a very good read.
