Scott, respectfully, I cannot agree with you.

Mister Franken's pathology has nothing to do with " stupidity, ignorance, or cluelessness.

Rather, I suspect that Franken's tall tales happen from the fact that he thinks lying is just fine, and he's a good liar.

One other thing, (and the subject of a little essay I want to post in a week or so), Franken (just like Clinton, Rodham, Murtha, you get the idea) know that the news media will never, ever take them to task on even the most fanciful excursions from the truth.

This means that by a mechanism of a sort reverse selection pressure, the most prolific liars will succeed in the Democrat party. (More on this later)
