One of the first things GWB needs to do, and quickly, is to stop coddling Bubba the Rapist. Association with that man is confusing at best and damning at worst!

President Bush's improved standing with whites, men, Catholics and other core supporters has been a key factor in pushing his job approval rating up to 42 percent. That's the highest level since summer. Apparently a lot of white Roman Catholic men haven't gotten the WH "Holiday" card yet.

President Bush is coming back because he is talking back to his critics. Now if we could figure a way to insert some spine into Republicans on the hill things would get better.
We have to make the Dims pay when they lie their asses off.

But like Rush said yesterday the poll as reported by the anti-American AP is different than they report. I think I remember that Rush said that over 50% approve of the economy and over 60 or 70% say not to pull out of Iraq without victory.
But then what does one expect from the supporters of terror and anti-Americansd management of the news period. They and most of the MSM are low IQ scum who could not hold a real job.

Shifting into campaign mode to reverse his slide in public opinion polls...And, of course, the Dems haven't been in campaign mode, have they?

You can add 10 points to any Bush poll released, and it would be more accurate.That`s just MHO.
Why are there no conservative polls? I am a big Fox fan but their poll is done by a liberal outfit as well.Maybe we need more polling done by James Carville(sp) of crossfire,he`s with the greenburgh polling company I think.
To: Mrs.Simpson
Rassmussen is the most conservative pollster he has the number of Ds and Rs he samples locked in from the last election.

I agree whole-heartedly. Cut the affiliation with the Bush One, too.

I mean, cut the Clinton-bush one affiliation.

"Apparently a lot of white Roman Catholic men haven't gotten the WH "Holiday" card yet."
As a 'white Roman Catholic woman', I am EXTREMELY pleased with the aesthetic and spiritual beauty of this year's White House Christmas card!
WH CARD CONTENT:
"The Lord is my strength and my shield;
In him my heart trusts;
So I am helped, and my heart exults,
And with my song I give thanks to him"
Psalm 28:7
With best wishes for a holiday (read 'holy'day) season of hope and happiness."
Given the 24/7 criticism the President has had to endure during the past year, I find his choice of Psalm 28:7 particularly telling and poignant!!

Yeah. Or maybe just like when they got the same thing for 7 of 8 years from the Reagan's, or 5 of 5 years from GW, they rose above trendy pseudo-issues and realized that belief in Christ transcends Christmas cards.

Rasmussen also called the last election correctly. I don't think his poll is conservative or liberal, I think he just strives to be right.

He would have been better off using Psalm 94...

Gas prices drop, his ratings go up. It is all about gas prices. Homer has gas to drive through the hood, buy smokes, buy beer, go to the porno movie theaters, then Bush is good. If no gas for this, then Bush is bad. It is all about gas prices. As prices have dropped, Bush's ratings go up. World could end in a nuclear holocaust, and no one cares, but them danged gas prices have to be low!

I looked at the internals of the poll.
48% of men approve of the job the president is doing in Iraq and only 33% of women approve. That is what is killing him ratings wise.
