Hutton’s comments are somewhat obscure since he distributes his publication, in the past very limited circulation, personally and little other that excerpts can be found on the internet. There are some dealers you can purchase old newsletters from. I don’t think it’s worth adding many Hutton Gibson links, but you might find the thread below interesting.
As regards The Passion I largely took the position that Mel could legitimately bypass the questions, as his dad’s orientation was peripheral to the film. However Hutton has claimed to have been involved in the concept and marketing of the film. I know he’s a liar, but if true, then Mel should have answered the questions. Think of David Duke’s son, were he a successful producer, hiring pop to do a film of this nature. The questions would be asked, and likely answered.
