I agree, Fred. I don't waste my time working for, or contributing to, those that waste my hard-earned dollars. People really DO need to do their homework when it comes to charitable giving, or they may as well just throw dollars out their car window in their cities and towns as they drive around each day; it does as much good that way. :)
"...when in reality most of the acreage of both states are as red as it gets."
Thanks for covering my back, FRiend. It is frustrating, isn't it?
Waiting for the usual suspects to show up on this thread and say it is no big deal and we shouldn't get so excited.
Diana.....I live in the Socialist Republic of Washington, the State - you know the one where the Dems actually STOLE the Governor election after the 3rd count?.....I hear your frustration, and yes, my comment was a bit flippant.....why don't you point us to Wisconsin products produced by conservatives? I'd look for them, believe me, I'm getting picky with my money....And, yes, I think most people here work to overturn the individuals that are causing the problems....I'm now working on a Death Tax Repeal Initiative here due to the Fraudulent Governor, who with a $1.4 Billion surplus thinks she needs MORE....for "education" of course.
Like, um, fer instance, UNITED WAY?? My ex-boss didn't understand why I wouldn't contribute to the company-wide Dane County drive for funds for Untied Way**. I told him "for political reasons," but I know he just thought I was being cheap -- which is OK with me, if it makes him feel better.
And other office politics and romances, (RUMORS, of course) etc. notwithstanding....I wouldn't have donated anyway.
Here's hoping this joker Chavez principal Howard Fried (and his family) never has to face a disaster (natural or otherwise) and need help. Given freely....
** Yeah, I know -- but that's the way it's spelled at our house.

The above link are people to AVOID, but I can't find a "Buy Red" site out there. Anyone? Anyone?
If you can avoid products produced in Dane or Milwaukee Counties in Wisconsin, I can guarantee you that your dollars will be going to conservative business owners. :)
For more information, contact Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association at 608-828-4550 for a listing of their members, and avoid the two counties I listed above.
Thank you.....
