Good to hear from you, snugs, and see all your photographs.

My mother was named for her maternal grandmother - Annie - but changed it to Anne when she married, and named my sister that.
Her paternal grandmother, however, was named Ann Amelia Skinner - of English heritage...

Skinner now that sounds a good English name my guess probably from the Midlands or the North of England.
