All kids 'get in trouble' along the way. It is natural & part of experiencing pushing the boundaries & learning consequences. The getting in trouble is not as much a question as to what good/growth/enlightenment comes from the situation.

I know.

I was a rebellious Teen and put my parents through quite a bit of pain, but I learned from my mistakes and I think I turned out alright.;)

I am hoping to be able to nip it in the butt now, before it gets out of hand.~sigh~

Sometimes being a parent isn't easy.

My oldest is baffled about her behavior, because he didn't skip school at her age or now.

I think I'll take the next week off of work and take her to school and sit with her the entire day (wearing my Jammies},to show her that I meant it ,when I told my oldest and then her, that I would do exactly that ,if they ever skipped school.

I'll be discussing this option with my hubby when he gets home for lunch.
