Freeper Warrior Nurse had decided to pursue an interservice transfer to the active duty Army after his assignment to the Naval Reserve when he concluded his last active duty assignent on board the USS John F Kennedy. During his time on the JFK he begin to realize that he had reached the apex of his Naval career as an operational nurse. After his tour of duty he was transfered to the Naval Reserves and promoted to his present rank of Lieutenant Commander. When told by his superiors that he was now too senior in rank to return to active duty, he started to pursue a transfer to active duty Army. Not one to watch from the sidelines WN expressed a burning desire to be out in the field with the troops to fight in the war against the Islamoterrorist. He felt with his skills and expertise he could not continue to sit by and watch good men die while waiting for the Navy to recall him to active duty. On Dec 8th WN received offical conformation that his transfer to the Army at the rank of Major was approved. This is indeed a rare feat because this will be the third branch of military service he has served in as a commissioned officer.
Everyone - lets give Warrior Nurse a resounding congratulations and wish him luck and Godspeed in his work.
