MORE NEWS FROM IRAN
Speaking of Islamic dictatorships, the president of Iran is once again speaking his mind. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said yesterday that he doubted the Holocaust took place and that Israel should be moved to Europe. That's at least a step up from wanting to destroy it.
Kofi Annan condemned the statements, which may be a first. This in addition to the cancellation of his trip to Tehran after Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map. Now given Iran's desire to get rid of Israel, and that regime's previous call for the destruction of the United States, you have to ask yourself a question.
The U.N. says Iran could be two months from having a nuclear weapon. Should we let them have nukes? Democrats probably see no problem with that ... but it doesn't sound all that good to me. But guess what is being done about it: absolutely nothing. Iran will soon have a nuclear warhead....and the world will have stood by and let it happen.
A simple series of bombing runs would wipe out Iran's nuclear reactors....so what are we waiting for?
FOr nothing else, bomb Iran's sites so we can really see how nuts democrats get.
"A simple series of bombing runs would wipe out Iran's nuclear reactors"
Neal's underinformed on this
how so?
The problem with Iran isn't what we can see, it's what we can't see.
Ahmadinejah should stop whinning and take his complaints to the One who decided where the state of Israel was going to be located. Not that it will do any good, but I find it insulting to even consider the UN and the EU!
absolutely
but we can see the deterination in Ahmadinejad's words, and in those same words we can see his nuts are draggin. The neat thing about communication is its not what they are saying, but what then mean. Ahmadinejad is just plain nasty wanting global domination. my belief is they are already armed, but are accrueing more firepower of their own technology for a sustained volley.
imo, the devil should be lifted off the map
these guys are masters of deceit.....
Kofi is just distressed that the call to destroy Israel was more evident...
"how so?"
The Iranians learned from the bombing of Saddam's nuclear reactor. Their facilities are in multiple locations, some of them underground and impervious to conventional bombing. Check out this very good read for more info..
(They also learned from non responses since '79)

Such an obvious move would be a mistake, I think. The Iranians are chafing under their rulers, and are pro-US... but they are also quite nationalistic and such an attack by the US would not go over well, I think.
true!
