You don't seem to know what the definition of atheism is. Atheism means that one is saying that there aren't any deities. Science is NOT saying this. Science says NOTHING about the existence of deities. NOTHING. The term for science's position is agnostic. It doesn't say they do or don't exist. It's not a scientific question. How can science deal with something untestable? It's ludicrous to demand it should.

Strain at words all you like. The distinction is moot. Furthermore, you switched the subject from what science can or cannot say to what it does say. I am perfectly willing to admit science may not currently have God under the microscope per se (as if direct evidence is the only thing within the purview of science!), or according to its own current definitions. That is different from adopting an atheistic view of science, which you currently evidence and espouse.
