I AM my flesh, or at least a result of it's organization.Is that all? You are only a material entitiy, and there is nothing more to you than that? What makes you different than a tree? It is well within the scope of science to hypothesisze what consitutes personhood apart from its opposite. We may refer to such things as "spiritual," or "philosophical," but they are by no means separate from the physical world. The supernatural and the natural co-exist. The only difference between the two is that one has been assigned terms, explanations, and causes which thereby render the thing "natural." The essence of a thing does not change by virtue of anyone's comprehension or lack thereof.
