No more Canadian troops to Afghanistan, Layton says

I was many years ago. I'm just getting tired about the way most of the rest of the world perceive the War on Terror. It's Canadian asses on the line too.

I stand corrected then. Other than Iraq, we've been there. The Canadian government (read as the liberal minority government) let down the US with respect to support in Iraq. I know that many here in the Canadian Forces wanted to be there. The liberals and their supporters just don't get it.

Thanks to our Canadian military allies who have to struggle with restrictions and resource problems emplaced by their government, yet still do all they are permitted to do in Afghanistan. Let's not confuse the Canadian government's position nor speeches of left-wing politicians with the competency and courage of Canadian soldiers fighting alongside Americans in Afghanistan.
