The Michael Moore faction are traitorous, but they are not guilty of treason.

How can a person be “traitorous” and not be committing treason?

“Section. 3.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”

“Adhering to their enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” Seems to cover it pretty well.

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them"

This sentence is very important.

It must be comprehended correctly. Treason is levying war against the United States.
