Just to clarify, the picture is facing northwest over the 63rd and Cicero intersection. The very end of the runway being approached is at 55th and Central (1 mile north and 1 mile west) where today's accident took place.

Yowsers!! I guess it's amazing MORE planes haven't ended up in that intersection!
