If they were writing about a conservative show, they would state how there is near zero market and it is doomed to utter failure. All in the perspective.

Industry followers say Air America still trails conservative programming - including Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly - in nearly all major markets.

NEARLY all major markets? Does that mean that there is at least ONE major market where AA leads Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly? If so, which one?

Or is this just some Progressive reporter's way of softening the language so that AA doesn't sound like the loser it consistently proves to be.
