Sort of ironic to post a graphic that says 'Freedom to Think' when you just hounded a guy out of a job for expressing his thoughts.

Spinning again I see.
Trying to twist the story into insults on others.

Are you a lonely person. You come across as very bitter...do you have a girlfriend/wife? Whats your deal?

You've been in academia too long, and you're rearranging facts to suit what you already think. The guy resigned his chairmanship after the supposed beating. It was obvious to anyone who's ever worked emergency services that his story was suspect. He didn't resign over criticism, he resigned because he may be getting ready to face criminal charges. The people who supposedly pulled him over were stereotypes, kind of like the black guys with sweatshirts that mug the guy who lost his paycheck playing poker. He wasn't sure where it happened. Yeah, right. Two rednecks in a pickup are following an academic disagreement at the local University about course subject matter so closely that they recognized the guy in his car. You betcha. Finally, you've got two guys who are willing to commit a felony, and after they pull the guy over, they just slap him around a little. Two guys willing to do that would have beaten him unconscious, pulled his clothes off of him, and run his car off an embankment. He'd have been out there naked, semiconscious, with at least some broken ribs, a broken nose, missing teeth, and no way to get anywhere. Guys who do stuff like this don't mess around. The story stinks to high heaven, and the police know he's lying. That's why he's out of the chairmanship, and if there's any justice, he'll be out of a job. Think about it. The guy created a story out of whole cloth to reinforce his position. That's not a person who should be teaching in a college.
