The Dem wacky left wing base have no where to go. They will eventually energetically support Hil and vote for her.

For once, I agree with the Daily Kos. We know what Joe Lieberman stands for. NO ONE knows what the Clintons stand for, aside from themselves.

Actually I'm surprised. I didn't think the Democrats were capable of being ashamed of anything. It's encouraging (albeit not much) to know that these people know what shame is.

They can whine all they want but they'll back her in the end. She knows it and they know it.

won't at least one Democrat come out and say they are ashamed of the Democratic base? That would be leadership.

This is a strategic ploy to convince voters that Hillary is really middle of the road.
The left knows who Hillary is. The left also practices the end justifies the means. It's all political theater.
If Hillary gets in she will be as far left as Medea Benjamin.

"Shame on the Democratic Party if they ever nominate her"
This mondfledermaus demonstrates a shocking ignorance of
Democrat party reality. HRC won't be nominated, she'll
just seize it.

Liberal Democrats are so upset with Hillary Clinton's waffling on the Iraq war that some are now saying they're "ashamed" of her. The Daily Kos - the political web site widely read by the party's base - is urging Democrats to move beyond Mrs. Clinton and her husband, declaring: "Shame on the Democratic Party if they ever nominate her" for president. She's actually quite good in politics. She'll swing left during the primaries to woo the Moonbats back, then go back to her 'original positions' to capture the nation.

This is exactly what I've been saying for awhile- I don't think Hillary is a shoe-in with the Democratic base- just the hardline leftists. The Democrats are forgetting their base is in large part made up of socially conservative but fiscally liberal people. They can smell a rat and won't back a liar. Plus, I think that Hillary has waffled enough that there are sound clips out there that are going to nail her along the lines of "I was for it before I was against it."
