This is exactly what I've been saying for awhile- I don't think Hillary is a shoe-in with the Democratic base- just the hardline leftists. The Democrats are forgetting their base is in large part made up of socially conservative but fiscally liberal people. They can smell a rat and won't back a liar. Plus, I think that Hillary has waffled enough that there are sound clips out there that are going to nail her along the lines of "I was for it before I was against it."
Begala has been strangly missing from the talking head shows since this has come out. I would love to hear a take from him on this.
