How many Christmas cards will you receive this year that say something along the lines of Peace on Earth and Goodwill Towards Men?

Not at all. I honor Peace on Earth and Goodwill. The peace symbol that leftist use has become something other than wishes of peace. After having three years of taunts, middle fingers, and obscenities thrown in my face by people who use that symbol it has become something far different than a symbol for peace.

Maybe the homeowner couldn't find a dove holding an olive branch with all the twinkling lights or maybe the words Peace on Earth wouldn't fit on his garage door.

To me, saying the display was "ruined" because of the use of the peace symbol without knowing the homeowner's mindset, given the time of year, is being very narrowminded and quite unfair.

I could see if it was the middle of June and there was an illuminated peace symbol on someone's home, but at Christmas?

Ditto your sentiments. It was a great display until that lit up. Then I said, "Awww, why'd he have to do that?" I think, with him being an engineer capable of building a display so complicated as he did, he could have used something other than the peace symbol if he was simply wanting to convey "Peace on earth and good will toward men."

Other than that, I liked his production.

:-)

Here's something sure to put a smile on your face, armymarinemom... and tell dad, too.
