One dead, 15 wounded in Gaza clan clash

One person was killed and 15 wounded in a clash between warring clans in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

The fighting first broke out on Friday, when six people were killed and 15 wounded in a gunbattle between rival families. Tempers calmed earlier this week after Palestinian Cabinet minister Mohammed Dahlan appealed to both families to put down their weapons.

But after two days of relative calm, gunfire erupted again on Wednesday.

Hospital officials said a 70-year-old Palestinian woman was killed and 15 people were wounded in the latest exchange. Two of the wounded were in critical condition, they said.

The Palestinian Interior Ministry condemned the violence in a statement, saying that "law and public order will be respected," and that no one is above the law.

The clash began as a land dispute in the 1980s, and violence between the two families has erupted sporadically ever since.

No Jews around so the mad dogs turned on each other. Not all Muslim are like this but the Paleostinians are just so damn wild. Gaza is a huge mess the same way the Muslim suburbs of France are lawless zones
