Yesterday, Senator Lieberman was calling for a War Cabinet -- combo of Congresscritters and Administration.

[Just what we need, another bunch of armchair quarterbacks with War Cabinet status. (end sarcasm)]

The MSM/DNC misinformation machine has been emboldened with its success in taking out Delay (may only be a temporary victory), so it's going after ever more important targets.

Whatever happened to the concept that the media's job is to report the news, not drive it? Would that the American people require more of their media. Unfortunately, too many of them (on the left) simply want their itching ears tickled.

McCafferty is a dinosaur.

Typicaly fighting the last war. We no longer have the luxury of waiting 9 months to build up an invasion force when needed.

If the jihadists wanted to create a strategic nightmare for us they would have scattered their forces into several countries and wage low level guerilla war. They did us a big favor by concentrating on Iraq.

Lauer: "But let me go back to it again. If you're one of the troops on the ground there and you're roughing it in Iraq and you've been there longer than you thought you were going to be there and you see this guy seemingly comfortable, doesn't it frustrate you a little bit."

Hey, Matty .... why don't you direct these morale questions to Kerry, Clark, Dean, etc.? They're the ones bringing morale down.

What infuriates me more than Lauer & the Today show spewing such propaganda, INTENDING to demoralize our troops, is that the White House will more than likely look the other way and let them get away with it!

I'M SICK OF THE INEFFECTIVENESS OF THE WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE! WHO IN THE HELL IS IN CHARGE OVER THERE?

The Republicans are in a mess because they are without leadership and Bush is their ultimate leader. Congress has gladly ridden his coat tails for the last four years and should know that a fractured party will only result in disaster for the party.

Bush should be working overtime with the Senators and Representatives he trusts to strategize and reign in the negativity and lies the MSM is spreading. Remember the Clinton's "war room" and their rapid response team? Hell, it was effective and they were defending the indefensible!!!

The Bush administration should implement something similar to help stop the daily unanswered tidal waves of lies and negativity. Using the bully pulpit to demand media accountability when lies are repeated ad nauseam is a great place to start, but first his communications department needs overhauling. He can start by replacing Scott McClellan, whom the press corp treats with intolerable disrespect.

Ultimately it is up to the President to get his party in line and behind him. Sometimes I think he is oblivious to how bad the situation has deteriorated and he needs to wake up before it's too late. Putting all networks on notice that AS OF TODAY there will be a zero tolerance of manufacturing segments that demoralize our military is of utmost importance.

All networks need to be held accountable for spreading lies during wartime and if the FCC needs to hammer the culprits, fine! This administration needs to do whatever it takes to reign in this new enemy of ours, the MSM. Fighting back is WAAAAY overdue.

Paging Karl Rove..... Help!!!

Matt Lauer: "These military people live by a code...

THESE MILITARY PEOPLE?

He sounds like Ross Perot addressing the NAACP!!

Also - wasnt McCaffrey the general who somebody went off on for wearing his uniform in the White House during the Xlinton administration? I guess that and, his successful experience as Drug Czar, has firmly embedded him in the media wing of the DNC.
