Insult to Injury - hate letter written to PFC Joshua Sparling (update info and photo)
FOX ^ | December 05, 2005 | Brian Kilmeade

Posted on 12/07/2005 12:13:28 AM PST by Former Military Chick

In case you missed the show, Josh was wounded in Iraq on November 20, and by the time he arrived at Walter Reed Medical Center he was almost immediately carted in for surgery. With a down moment he opened up a card which — on the surface — seemed like a patriotic "get well soon" kids' note, only to open and see it said this verbatim:

Dear, Soldier
Have a great time into he war and have a great time dieing in the war from Solider Miguel P.S. DIE.

This was the only card on his wall. As much pain as he is in he insisted on leaving the card up and in view. He, by the way, is proud of his service misses his buddies and wants to go back and fight — as did everyone I met last Friday. Please write him and his fellow wounded war fighters Christmas/holiday/get well cards to let them know that Green Day and this sadist does not represent the America public.

Send your get-well and holiday wishes to:

Joshua Sparling
C/O Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20307-5001

If you have the time, please try and include the others I met along with Col. North and Col. Hunt at Walter Reed:

Capt. James Ollinger
Sgt. Zavian Simspon
Specialist Brian Radke
Specialist Jason Braase
Sgt. David Nevins
Sgt. Jose Ramos
Cpl. Todd Bishop
Sgt. Ryan Donnelly
Sgt. Eva Diane Cochran

I contacted WRMC and asked what more we can do and their suggestion:

You can call them (202)782-3501 to get a name of a soldier to send a card to.

You can also write a bunch of cards, put them in a larger envelope and they will distribute them for you. There biggest needs, calling cards, which can easily be put in a Christmas card.

You can contact the Red Cross to see what might be in most need when you are about to send a package to the hosptial.

Judging by the spelling, I'd guess it's some six-year-old kid with moonbat parents who didn't know any better.

When sending cards to un-named patients, it is best to address them to "Wounded Warrior" as all branches of the military are represented at WRAMC.

Thanks for the updated thread.

I'm surprised that any get out of their mothers' wombs without being aborted.

Actually, it was Cindy Sheehan using a pen name.

No, it was a full grown moonbat. It's just their mental development doesn't go beyond that of a six year old.

The left attracts the sickest minds in the country to their side.

Let us never forget when the Left says they oppose the war but support our troops, THEY LIE!

I was wondering what form of address to use. Thanks! :)

That was my initial thought, but then I remembered that is the way the moonbat parents would have written it.

That is not a kid's handwriting, it is the Moonbat's. Moonbats don't necessarily spell very well.

I would not be surprised if the FBI or military investigators were brought in. If this was an adult, it is reminiscent of the type of "mail" that serial killers or bombers use. Not so sure of the innocence of this.
