SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was greeted by anti-war protesters today at a local Democratic fundraiser in Saratoga Springs.
More than a dozen Iraq war protesters waved signs and called on her to support an immediate withdrawal of troops.
Barbara Murphy, a retired state worker from Clifton Park, said she voted for Clinton in 2000. But she said she won't vote for her next year unless Clinton comes out for bringing the troops home.
Also protesting was Pete Looker, a chimney sweep from Saratoga Springs who was dressed as Santa Claus.
Clinton voted for the war but has been critical of President Bush's handling of the conflict. She said it's wrong to set a firm timetable for the withdrawal of troops. But she also said we shouldn't have an open-ended commitment to keeping soldiers in Iraq.
In New York City today, a second anti-war candidate -- union activist Jonathan Tasini -- announced his candidacy for the Democratic Senate nomination.

The fun part is watching the flying monkeys fly back up her butt after the show is over.
Don't try to pretend this isn't a choreographed stunt.
What she needs is some FreeRepublicans with signs congratulating her on her pro-war vote... THAT would really screw the libs up
This is so upsetting to see Hillary protested by her own party members. It just breaks me all up inside.
I agree....two events with hecklers and protestors??? for Hillary???
Oh, yeah....this is all a big show by Hillary's people...probably staged the whole Cindy Sheehan is against her thing, also..
I get the feeling that this is an attempt to position Hillary as a moderate that pro military and capable of being commander in chief. Those signs seem so generic compared to other ones I have seen posted by the antiwar crowd.
I always knew that the liberal Democrats would eat their own---Joe Lieberman and Hillary Clinton should keep their bellies full for a while.
Sooooooo does this mean Moonbat Cindy will be camping out out Hellary's place during the Christmas vacation??
Either these protests are a setup to make Hellary look center to right
Or she is gonna have a major problem with the base
Problem is .. you can't be sure .. because I can see Hellary's people planning this
I'm thinking the same thing
Don't worry.
The "protestors" are just a setup to fool the voters into thinking Hillary has changed.
If you want to know if the "protestors" turn into real protestors, watch Hillary's temper.
No deer in the headlights. More like "Dope" in the headlights.
NOTICE TO ALL
I do not buy any of the left "protests" against Hillary.
Yes, they happen and will continue to happen.
They are not for real.
Hillary and the hard left of the Dims have been deeply in bed with each other for years. She is not abandoning her hard left positions no matter what political statements she makes.
The protesters themselves may think they are on honest protest missions, but I have no doubt whatsoever that the ideas, the impetus, the rational of those most behind the protests know they are trying to work the protests to Hillary's advantage; provide supposedly legitimate cover for her makeover to look more centrist. It's all a shame made with nothing less than six degrees of separation between Bill and Hillary and the protesters.
It is all a public show and nothing more.
