Great home page, by the way.
It is easy to see that many males do not see a bright future for the average college educated man. All the lower level white collar jobs are inhabited by women earning low wages. Men are forced into blue collar jobs where pay may be better and women fewer.
You see this every day..how often do you deal with a man at a bank, insurance company, store, resturant, finance company, realestate agent, etc etc. This was not the case before and the wide availability of women at lower pay drove men from this market place. l
What is the use of a college education if you plan to be a plumber, electrician, computer tech, equipment operator etc.
This is the new world that women's lib created for us..and the need for two people working to support a family..
hope you like it.
That statement is just sick, an insult to males and females.
Yes, we high acheivers do not want quota queens amongst us. We surround ourselves with the very best, race and sex be damned. Who cares.
When you play with the big dogs, be the best, or go home. We recognize losers in a second, and get rid of them.
There truly is an elite club at the top, and it has nothing to do with race or sex. To qualify, you simply have to be the best. We don't care about your background; we only care about what you can contribute RIGHT NOW.
I like to be considered a "man's man". I don't have an effeminate bone in my body!
It's like illegitimacy, in which the black community has long been in the lead - and the white community is coming along fast. It's also connected to illegitimacy, I think. Boys without fathers in their lives grow up hating all things "womanly." Formal education is one of the first things to be rejected.

Not only that but in some circles education is perceived as being too "white."
Given my award for a very high SAT score was a dictionary and the award of an African American who got 200 points less than me was a huge scholarship I don't quite see how that holds true..
It's just my opinion based on my experience as a student and a businessman.
Well it is not my experience as somone who was constantly put in the unprotected class column when applying for anything. My wife (Asian American) has it just as bad becuase them darn Asians work too hard so they get no benefit for being a minority but our Baby is 'Other' ;)
Masculinist
Yeah, having Diana Moon Glompers blow you away with a shotgun might put a damper on things.
"Well it is not my experience as someone who was constantly put in the unprotected class column when applying for anything."
I'm sorry you've had that experience and I hope it happens less as we work for more equal protection.
In what ways do we have unequal protection?
"In what ways do we have unequal protection?"
Well, for example you just said you were discriminated against when "applying for anything."
I've such experiences too but in my case they were much less than the advantages of being a white male.
"It's too late. This problem can't be fixed at this point - the only way out is to press on through and let higher education collapse of its own dead weight. For young people who want to accomplish anything, it's back to the "Abe Lincoln reading law books by the fireplace" modality - homeschooling or self-study.
Fortunately, we live in a time when the Internet makes so much learning available for free that formal education is becoming superfluous, anyway."
You are so right. I went to Stanford, but don't see it happening for my young niece. Better an education from tutors, field trips and some measured classroom attendance. As far as the Internet goes, Wikipedia is now really getting strong as a source. I was reading up on String Theory, ramjet engines and a local politician - all very good stuff.
Could be something to this. The content-free fields of study, like Gender Studies, keep themselves relevant and funded by faking hate crimes, discovering heretofore unseen prejudices, forcing sensitivity training upon everyone, and rewriting degree requirements so that every student has to take one of their classes to graduate.
What advantages are there in being a white male?
You know? I'm going to start calling my 6-month old son "African-American". Now, if he has any heritage of that kind, it's probably further back than anyone could research. BUT, in this day and age, the advantages of him being considered "Black" are too great to pass up.
Young ones...6 yrs old...brains have not fully developed are moderated by chemicals for cryin out loud..
Mostly young males...they act out...the teachers (no few themselves) are also on psych meds (zoloft or prosac and others for example) fill out the easy paperwork..then the school social worker or school psychologists simply rubber stamps a elementary school teacher's diagnosis.. and the school system contract MD issues a script...
Some of the best indicators of which kids will be medicated are those kids who are male and from fatherless homes..and female teachers recommending they be medicated..
This is more from stressed out teachers or underqualifed emotionally ..I would call these chemical leashes rather than chemical castration...but in a sense it I think it would be fair to say that this is a war on maleness by feminist pseudo profession educators.
The process should be illegal
imo
